Tau Beta Pi membership is by invitation only.

In order to get invited, undergraduate students must:

• Be in the top 1/8th of their Junior engineering class
• Be in the top 1/5th of their Senior engineering class

Graduate students must:

• Be in the top 1/5th of their Graduate engineering class
• Have their high-quality work attested to by a faculty member
